After capturing the apparent Lord Pimsley the will be heroes ask him not to ever attempt to assasinate Hilter. Since he agrees, he and his flunky are released. Since the PCs are more interested in who is 6'2'' and not who is not 6'2'', they never realize this is just a ruse. Suspicious of Maria and the Father, the band goes to check out their story. Cleverly, the GM forces the player characters to go re-fuel at San Remo. One of the more astude members of the band notices that no one is about in the village. Moreover, all the doors in the town are open except the mission. The band investigates... The real Lord Pimsley has the townspeople hostage. At his sides are two time agents from OWT's opposition. They are good and have blasters like our will be heroes. Suddenly from beyond the edges of the senario description leap five more time agents. Luckily they are not as skilled as the original two. Here the GM proceeds to teach the PCs how dangerous gun combat is. To drive home the point, he ups the damage on the blasters. The band is triumphant, but... Eric Fulton's one dimensional character is shot in the brain and floats down river. Half of the rest of the party is permanently disfigured and maimed. The GM laughs evilly. The opposition's time techies steps through time portals to pick up their dead and wounded. Darn, no more new guns and ammo. The will be heroes pick up some portion of the reward for the return of Lord Pimsley. Unfortunately, they can not get it all in the universal currency, gold. A time portal opens up and a new GM is activated. Perhaps all the blasters will become less powerful again. There is some talk of magical elven healing.
